Assisted suicide, the argument for death over life
Assisted suicide has been a subject people and society have struggled with since the beginning of human consciousness. The very thought of it generates a heated debate with legitimate arguments on both sides. It is difficult to conceive of because it entails a person ending their own life, actually stopping their breath, and heart. It must be one of the most difficult things in life to do. Think of the state in life you must reach where you actually beg for it to end. It hurts me to think of it, but I cannot imagine I could ever feel like I have the right to deny or judge someone's rights to do so. |
